Advanced Quantum Computing training program will focus on introducing specialized topics to the participants who are familiar with the fundamentals of quantum computing. It will also introduce QISKIT runtime which soon be the default method for programming in IBM QISKIT.

Yes, this will be a hands-on training with afternoon lab sessions to train the participants in programming IBM QISKIT.

The training program will be conducted between Dec 5 - 16, 2022 at NPTEL studios, 2nd Floor, Class Room Complex (CRC), IIT Madras - 600 036

As this is an advanced level training program, a basic knowledge of quantum information theory, Python and/or Matlab, and IBM QISKIT programming is preferable.

There is no specific evaluation process. All participants are encouraged to engage actively during the theory and lab session to learn about quantum computing as well as programming in IBM QISKIT
